App Review with Apple has begun! I hope to have this available soon. Google is coming later. Microsoft store version is already available. Maybe there's a MacOS version in the works too.....
v1.8.0 has been released to testing and stores now. Below are release notes:
- New Windows UI - The Windows UI has been completely redone. It now looks more like a standard Windows app instead of a tablet app running on Windows.
- Phones and Foldables (including the iPhone Duo) are now supported. UI changes were made to support these screen sizes. Tablet is still the preferred screen size, but a phone in portrait mode will do the job!
- New sample ruleset "Neon Static" is available in the Rules Store.
- Support for FireOS is being dropped. Since Amazon is moving away from FireOS and onto a traditional Android platform with Google Play, I will only be releasing a Google play version. Thanks to those few FireOS users. See you on the Alexa tablets!
- New Integrated Help has been implemented. The entries are getting updated in v1.9.0, but basic information is now available in the Help and Getting Started sections. Both can be found by tapping/clicking on the Fox Icon menu.
Please enjoy the new user interfaces! It's been neat implementing them, a lot of different things to think about, but since the underlying code is shared between all versions, I think feature parity will be easily maintained between all version. Happy table topping!
